HMR MDF MR board is a highly moisture resistant Medium Density Fibreboard, suitable for use in areas of high humidity, or where accidental wetting may occur. Waterproof mdf board is an engineered wood made from hardwood fibers that are bonded together with synthetic resins and waxes under high pressure and temperatures up to 240 degrees. Green MDF board is dense and uniform, making it strong, durable and environmentally friendly.
• MDF board can be easily glued, screwed and painted to make different furniture.
• Green MDF can be cut in all directions because it is free of knots and grains. This ensures that its original strength is maintained.
• MDF 6mm board is relatively cheap compared to the anti-bite board.
• Green MDF Board is easy to clean and keeps your bathroom and kitchen furniture free of germs.
• Moisture-resistant MDF is resistant to deformation.
• Made from wood fibers extracted from sawdust, eco-thinned and recycled wood, it is eco-friendly.
Green MDF Board is recommended for interior applications which may include: kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, laundry cupboards, shelving, wall lining (if installed wth a suitable feature joining system) and mouldings.
NOTE: Green MDF Board is not designed for exterior applications.
Bending properties: Green MDF Board can be bent to produce curves for furniture, doorways and/other applications to a minimum radius of 50 times the panel thickness.
Chipboard & MDF
Chipboard is made from wood chips and sawmill shavings, which are combined together with a resin. The final product is strong yet lightweight. MDF is similar to chipboard but it uses wood fibres combined with a glue to create a denser composite wood, which makes it very strong and heavy like solid wood.
